To continue delivering better performance and ensure the long-term sustainability of the service, we’re excited to announce the launch of Murfy’s paid plans starting February 2, 2026.

Below, we’ll explain why we’re introducing plans, how this change affects existing users, and the structure and intended audience of each plan.

💭 Why are we introducing plans?

Murfy is introducing paid plans to continuously provide a faster, more stable writing environment. We plan to keep improving the service with a focus on the following areas:

• Expanding high-performance LaTeX compilation infrastructure

• Ensuring stable collaboration even for large-scale projects

• Operating a sustainable service for researchers, students, and institutions

For users who need higher performance—such as faster compilation, deeper version history, and support for more complex workflows—we’re offering optional paid plans.
That said, Murfy will continue to provide all essential features needed to complete a paper for free.

💭 I’m already using Murfy—does this affect existing users?

No. If you’re already using Murfy, you can continue without changing any settings.

All your existing projects and data will remain intact, and nothing will be deleted or restricted even if you don’t subscribe. After the Pro plan launches, you’ll continue using Murfy under the free Starter plan by default.

💭 What plans are available, and what’s the difference?

Murfy offers three plans: Starter, Pro, and Enterprise.

We recommend the Pro plan if you:
